This is a public hospital covering the Lower and Central GS region. GPs in the Albany area are rostered for on call and emergency work. The WA Palliative Care Network, ACAT, HACC(MOW only) and MHS are also on this site. Dr Russell Harkman(MHS) has the psychosis program within the hospital in G- Ward. Services at this hospital are:- Emergency . Home and Community Care . Intensive Care . Maternity . Medical, General . Mental Health . Nursing Home . Occupational Therapy . Pathology . Pharmacy . Physiotherapy . Radiology . Social Work . Speech Therapy . Day Surgery. If non emergency transport to hospital is required, refer to Red Cross(9842 9095).Red Cross also provides hire of equipment e.g. shower chairs, wheel chair etc. Equipment hire has a small holding fee which is refunded once product is returned. Can be on hire for up to 3 months. Coordinator for this is Kate Green.

Great Southern Mental Health Service(CAMHS and Seniors)

WA, Australia

Provides assessment and treatment of people with a severe and persistent mental illness. Referred by GP's, other agencies and self. Team consists of nurses, registered psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers and occupational therapists.

I'm a single mum to a 10 yr old boy, Zayden.
We live in Melton, which is in the west of Melbourne.
I urgently require assistance.
Food vouchers would be absolutely ideal and a petrol voucher.
I have to drive my son to and from school.
He is back from school camp today and my registration was due the day he left for camp. Another $100+ I just don't have.
Once my rent is paid there isn't enough left to survive.
This week is extra tough.
Once bills are direct debited I'm lucky to get food for a few days.
I have no family to get help from and zaydens dad doesn't support zayden at all.
Every time I ask for help from places locally I have to be assessed and it's so much stress going through all your troubles being advised to see financial advisers. It's so depressing going through the same thing each time.
I keep getting referred to Orange Door. They seem to help everyone else I've spoken to without having to relive and go thru your depressing present reasons why you require help quite indepth they go. Which is too stressful.
They have left me without assistance on a friday left me with no help because I'd spoken to more than 1 person there they were confused and just left me with nothing.
My phone is playing up so can't receive calls always so they just didn't send vouchers they'd told me they were sending..
It's just so stressful having to explain your story all the time.

Hello ,
I'm in a really bad situation atm . I recently had to move because my dad who I was caring for 10 years had to go into aged care .
I had nowhere to go with my dog and luckily someone I barely know let me rent a room off him in Powelltown, Vic .
I don't drive and it's an 18km walk just to get to a bus stop that is still Ages away from most things .
My centerlink has been cut off because I couldnt attend a job provider appointment due to it being so far and I haven't had any food for 5 days now.
There is a local food relief place that gives Me a few fresh vegetables every Friday but they didn't come today and it's only a few fruit and veg which is not very nourishing on an empty stomach . They only come on Fridays when they can .
Can you guys please
