Southern Agcare is a community based, non-profit organisation provides mobile, free and confidential counselling and support services. There are 5 counsellors and support staff offering a range of counselling and support services. Individual and Family Counselling :- Supporting families and individuals in crisis Assisting family members to improve communication and resolve conflict Promoting knowledge and skills to enhance relationships Enabling individuals and families to cope with stress, anxiety, grief, depression and trauma Providing information and referral to appropriate agencies Community Support Services provided by Southern Agcare include : Mental health first aid courses Bereavement and other support groups Workshops an seminars on a variety of topics, on request. Can provide Emergency Relief: assistance with Food Vouchers, financial assistance towards bills/ medicines, and referrals to other agencies for clothing/ furniture.
