Home Modification and Maintenance Scheme - Dubbo
The service covers Dubbo, Wellington, Gilgandra, and Narromine local government areas, and specialises in home modifications, maintenance, adjustments and advice on building related matters. Examples of modification or maintenance work that can be carried out include: internal/external ramps and rails, hand held showers, tap turners, adjusting hot water service, widening doorways, securing rugs and cords, repairs to gutters, windows, doors, floors, steps and paths. As there are only limited funds available, you will be asked to pay for the cost of the materials and a small hourly rate.

An Occupational Therapist assessment is required to determine neccessary modifications. <p> Yard maintenance will be provided if the safety of the resident is at risk, however ongoing lawn mowing is unavailable.
