Home based flexible respite, Monthly outings. Home Maintenance and Modification (Wentworth & Balranald Shires) Community Transport - operates Tues and Fri mornings and Thurs afternoons. Transports from Wentworth via Curlwaa and Dareton to Merbein or Mildura. Pickup commences on Tue and Fri at 8.45am and on Thurs at 12pm from Wentworth. Clients from Buronga and Gol Gol are picked up between 9.30am and 10am or 12.30pm- 12.45pm. To supplement this service a Taxi Voucher Scheme operates for days when the bus does not run or for appointments outside the normal operating times. Can provide Outreach Respite in Euston. Transport from Pooncarie to Wentworth & Mildura on 2nd Thurs each month unless it conflicts with RFDS visit. This service is open to anyone needing to travel - Not just HACC Clients.

I recently had a 5 day holiday for a family get together, and I had a friend from Sydney stay in my unit to look after my cat as I could not take here with us. Sadly, one of our neighbor's put a note on her car window, that she was not allowed to park the car there, and that she had been reported to Department of Housing. the spot she parked in is a spare spot, and not parking has been officially allocated to tenants. I spoke to dept of housing about this, and was told it was quite ok for me to have a visitor stay, and for them to use that car space and that they would notify all the tenants of this. But to date nothing has happened, and I have another trip away coming up soon, and really don't want this to happen again. Any advice would be appreciated.
