Merry Makers is a registered non-profit community based charity organisation. They provide weekly dances and get togethers every Thursday at The Entrance Primary School between 7.00 pm and 9.00 pm for 50 weeks of the year for intellectually and/or physically impaired adults. They stage a caberet activity for the months of March, June, September, and December and the remaining eight months take the form of outings. Volunteer bus drivers offer a pickup and deliver home service for their members if required. Each bus has a volunteer driver and volunteer hostess. Volunteers also assist on the dance floor, as "caller" and dance "helper". The service also will advocate on behalf of parents of a child with a disability if required.
